American Psycho by Bret Easton Ellis Horrible! Disgusting. So superficial and so sadistic...many times I thought I would drop this book. I still don't feel ready to watch the film and watch all these tortures.

Angela's ashes by Franck Mc Court Miserable life in Old Dublin. I still did not see the film...but the book is very good.

Angels and Demons by Dan Brown Great! As good as Da Vinci code....but bloodier. Opposition between science and religion. Visit of Roma and the Vatican.

Bridget Jones Diary by Helen Fielding So funny...so much like me sometimes. The film was not bad too.

Du côté de chez Swan by Marcel Proust Long...beau et poétique...mais quelle barbe! La période à Paris, avec les potins est un peu moins ennuyeuse. Il parait que la suite est mieux...mais j'ai pas le courage de repartir sur ces récits aussi ennuyeux pour le moment.

Harry Potter by J.K Rowling I read all of them...I love it...

Illiade by Homer Des combats, des combats, des combats....tellement de répétitions....quel ennui!

L'alchimiste by Paulo Coelho Quête intérieure...chacun doit y trouver un message pour continuer.

Le grand Meaulnes by Alain-Fournier Récit campagnard...poétique.

Le parfum by Patrick Suskind Beau livre. Histoire terrible mais il est étonnant de faire passer autant d'émotions olfactives à travers un livre.

Les croisades vues par les arabes by Amin Maalouf Un peu d'histoire...intéressant

Les fourmis by Bernard Werber J'adore Werber, j'ai lu tous ses livres et je suis allée voir la pièce de théatre.

L'évangile selon Pilate by Eric Emmanuel Schmitt Véra me l'a offert pour mon anniversaire...J'ai bien aimé certains points de vu de l'auteur, intéressant.

Lord of the flies by William Golding Neil offered it to me.

Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden Japan before WW2. The film is not bad but the book is much better.

Monsieur Malaussène by Daniel Pennac J'adore le style, les histoires...j'ai lu toute la collection des Pennac

Sex and the city / 4 Blondes by Candace Bushnell New York city life for 30 years old rich and sexy women....so superficial but fun.

Stupeur et tremblements by Amélie Nothomb J'adore Nothomb, surtout ses souvenirs gamines au Japon ou en Chine, son humour noir...j'ai lu tous ses livres.

The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown The book was great! So much more interesting than the film.

The devil wears Prada by Lauren Weisberger Superficial...the girl keep on crying on herself while her situation does not seem so hard. Easy to read but not really interesting. Why is it a best seller? Like the film nice, but not exceptionnal.

The hobbit / The Lord of the ring by J.R.R. Tolkien I wanted to read the trilogy before movies were out on the screens. I thought the story was great but rather boring to read...too long. I loved the films.

The pillars of the earth by Ken Follet Great! Learn how to build a cathedral. A middle age story.

Voyage au bout de la nuit by Louis Ferdinand Céline Style particulier. Un vocabulaire recherché avec un ton populaire.
